CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Leads Delegation to UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey for Working Visit

Recently, Hu Wenhui, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), led a delegation to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey for a working visit.

During the visit, Hu held bilateral talks with the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. The discussions focused on the latest progress in intellectual property (IP) work, IP protection, patent examination, patent reexamination and invalidation, capacity building, and bilateral cooperation. The CNIPA delegation was also invited to visit the Dubai Future Foundation, Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, a technology incubator platform in Abu Dhabi, a Turkish institution for IP valuation, and the technology development zone of Middle East Technical University, exchanging views on enterprise research and development innovation and the IP commercialization and utilization.

During the visit, the delegation also visited Chinese innovative enterprises in the region to better understand their IP protection practices and needs abroad.(Source  from CNIPA Website)
